Monroe County Earth Science Association

MCESA Website

A fun Rock and Earth Science Club

Welcome !

Feel free to "dig' around our site.  It is still under construction...so excuse the mess.

Our meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Eastern Monroe Public Library on RT611 and Chipperfield Dr, Stroudsburg, PA.  Time: 7-9 PM

The public is invited to attend our meetings to enjoy the various speakers and their presentations on such topics as lapidary arts, minerals, fossils, and other related earth sciences.  Membership is $15 for individuals and $5 for each additional household family member.  Please click on the members link for an application.

The Monroe County Earth Science Association was established in 2007 to stimulate interest in mineralogy, lapidary, paleontology and all earth science related subjects.  We are a non-profit organization of geologists, teachers, students, jewelers and hobbyists.  The association has broad activities designed for beginners through the professionals on a wide variety of topics.

The diversity of the members is what makes this club exciting.  Everything from budding junior rockhounds, to hobbyists, to experts in their field of study.  All mixed together, enjoying camaraderie, collections, knowledge and field trips experiences.
